ABSTRACT
Transvalvular device leads are undesirable following tricuspid valve replacement. Simultaneous lead extraction and intra-operative EV-ICD implantation can provide ongoing defibrillator therapy without crossing the prosthetic valve and may avoid the need for additional pacing hardware when atrioventricular conduction is preserved.
